Tallant Newborn Session/ Oxford Mississippi/ Fine Art Photographer
Oh how newborn sessions have my heart. This tiny little human, so new so precious, so loved. I love getting to freeze those little toes, finger, lips, and details in time. Its best to photograph a newborn between 4-14 days new. They start waking up and unfolding after that. Of course I gave photographed babies outside that window NICU babies, mom needs more time to recover, or COVID pushed it back. I will do what I can at any age to capture that precious baby just the way they are.
Lorelai came to her session with her precious parents. She was a sleeping beauty the entire session. I love the purity of white, it keeps your focus on the baby and her beauty. Fresh flowers have quickly become my favorite thing to incorporate into a little girls newborn session. I have two boys so getting to play dress up with little girls is so much fun.
I think its so important for parents to join in on the session. I send out a style guide that helps make it easy on deciding what to wear and coordinating your outfits. I love getting to capture their new love for each other and the life they created. Taylor is a new mom and is head over hills for her daughter. At one point during the session she got emotional just looking at the beautiful life she created. Y'all, these are the moments I live to freeze and give you for a lifetime.
A newborn session is focused on your new little life. These sessions last anywhere from 2-3 hours deepening on baby and their needs. I send out a prep guide for preparing for your session, to make the day as least stressful as possible. I have everything you could need for the baby, from swaddles, headbands, bonnets, and blankets. I send a style guide and love assisting mommas is picking out clothes for the entire family. I do love white and all its purity. I think it helps keep the focus on that beautiful baby.
I am taking bookings for due dates in March through May. Let me know if I can answer any questions.
